VAYREN did not start as a business plan. It started as a refusal to release a fragrance before it was ready — a rule the house still hasn't broken.
VAYREN was founded on the belief that most fragrances are finished too early — rushed to shelves before the raw materials have been given the time to actually agree with each other.
The house began with a single formula, ORIGINE, tested and reworked for over a year before a single bottle was sold. That patience became the standard for everything that followed: no fragrance leaves the lab until it has been worn, on real skin, through a full day, by someone willing to say it isn't finished yet.
Today the collection holds six compositions. Not sixty. That's deliberate — a smaller line, made properly, is worth more than a wide one made quickly.
We release roughly one new composition a year. Not more — there's no reason to.
"We're not trying to make a fragrance for everyone. We're trying to make one that's unmistakably yours."
